Brittney Griffin is a performer & choreographer who graduated from the University at Buffalo with a BFA in Dance. She competed for many years in the Miss New York Pageant, a preliminary for the Miss America Pageant, where she placed 2nd runner up. She has worked as the choreographer for the Miss Black USA Pageant as well as a judge and contestant consultant for the Miss New York Organization. She has toured with the National Broadway Tour of Hairspray, the International Tour of 42nd Street, and was the Dance Captain/Swing on the National Tour of Dreamgirls. Other credits include Associate Choreographer/Director of the South African tour of Dreamgirls, as well as the Associate Choreographer of the Non-Equity Tour of Dreamgirls. She performed in
Apollo Club Harlem, directed by and starring tap legend Maurice Hines. Brittney was also a part of the lab Shuffle Along, choreographed by SavionGlover and directed by George C. Wolfe.
